Things have been so busy lately that I haven’t had a chance to post this session, but I couldn’t resist putting up this one. Not your typical “engagement” shot, but I really like how it turned out…

This weekend I met up with Matt and Rhiannon in St. Johns to shoot their engagement photos. We’ve been having some beautiful spring weather lately, so we headed to the park for the afternoon to enjoy it. The colors and greenery around the St. John’s bridge turned out to be the perfect backdrop and we spent the afternoon just running around the park and being silly. Thanks to you both for a great day and congrats on the upcoming wedding!

Sometimes I wonder how I end up with such great wedding clients. It’s a little bit of luck on my part really, but only awesome people seem to want me to shoot their wedding. Trevor and Jamie are no exception. These two cool kids came up from Bend to spend an afternoon in Portland shooting their engagement photos this week. Despite chilly weather and a little rain, we were able to brave the streets of downtown Portland and get some great shots. These two were troopers and let me drag them all over the place. Thanks you guys, can’t wait to see you in June!

Yesterday I spent the afternoon with Jonathan and Kati, whose wedding I will be photographing this summer. We hiked around the Alberta/Concordia neighborhood of Northeast Portland to shoot some engagement photos and and had a lot of fun in the process.
